Smooth online order and pickup

I placed an online order for a Breakfast Burrito and a Matcha Latte. The website was easy to navigate on my phone, very straightforward to select items and customize the drink. I chose the pickup option, and my order was ready exactly when the confirmation email said it would be. The burrito was warm and tasty, and the matcha latte was well-made, not too sweet. The staff at the pickup counter were friendly and efficient. No issues at all, everything went smoothly from start to finish. Good experience overall, they definitely have their online ordering down.

Good coffee, decent price

I bought some House Blend ground coffee and a Coffee Tumbler. Got a small discount for my first order which was nice. The coffee is good quality for the price I paid, felt like a solid purchase without breaking the bank. Worth it.

Consistent quality over time

This was my third time ordering whole bean coffee from Stella Coffee. I usually get the Single Origin Beans. They're always roasted well and fresh. My last order took 5 days to reach Denver, which is about typical. I appreciate that the quality hasn't dipped at all since my first purchase months ago. They're a reliable spot for good coffee, which is why I keep coming back.

So happy with my order

Oh my goodness, I just had to leave a review! I ordered a Spanish Latte and a Quiche for pickup and everything was absolutely perfect. The latte was so creamy and delicious, and the quiche was flaky and flavorful. It was ready super fast too. I'm definitely going to be a regular here, you guys are doing it right! I've already told my friends about Stella Coffee, everyone needs to try it!

How does their Spanish Latte compare to the one at Alfred? Is it super sweet?

J Justin W. 1 day ago
Stella's Spanish Latte is really good, a bit creamier than Alfred's I'd say, and not overly sweet. You can usually ask them to adjust the sweetness too.

I actually prefer Stella's! It feels more balanced, less syrupy sweet than Alfred's sometimes. Definitely worth trying if you like that style.

Can you use more than one coupon if you have like, a loyalty reward and a promo code for beans?

J James Thompson 1 month ago
I don't think you can stack them. Most places only let you use one discount at a time. Loyalty points are usually a separate thing you redeem.

J Jeff Johnson 1 month ago
Pretty sure it's one per order. I tried to use a promo code with my loyalty points once and it didn't work. Had to pick.

How long does delivery usually take for coffee beans if I order them to like, Santa Monica?

M Megan Thomas 2 weeks ago
From my experience, if you're in LA it's pretty quick. Like 2-3 days max. Not sure if they deliver themselves or use a service.

I got my last bean order in like two days and I'm in Culver City. Should be similar for Santa Monica, depends on when you order though.

hey, was thinking about trying Stella Coffee. do they ever do a student discount? trying to save some cash, haha.

P Paul Young 6 days ago
Yeah I think so! My roommate used one a few weeks ago for a latte. You probably just need to show your student ID when you order.

They do! It's usually a small percentage off, not huge but every bit helps right? Just ask at the counter.

Does Stella do any kind of rewards program? Like points for purchases?

B Brian 3 weeks ago
They totally do! You get points for every purchase and can redeem them for free drinks or food. Just ask them to sign you up next time you're there.

J Jennifer 3 weeks ago
Yeah, they have a loyalty program. You earn points and can use them later. It's pretty standard, nothing crazy but nice to get free stuff eventually.

Thinking of getting some beans online. Do they do free shipping or anything for first-time buyers?

K Karen J. 2 weeks ago
I got a small discount on my first online order for beans. You usually get a pop-up or email signup thing for 10% off or something similar.

N Nathan Roberts 1 week ago
Not sure about free shipping specifically, but they do have those first order discounts if you sign up for their emails. Good way to try them out.

What's the deal with their 'house blend' whole beans? Worth it compared to their single origin stuff?

C Carol Davis 3 weeks ago
The house blend is solid for everyday drinking, really balanced. If you're into trying different flavor notes though, the single origins are usually more exciting and change up.
3
O Olivia Lopez 3 weeks ago
I always go for the single origin myself, usually a bit more unique. But the house blend is a good, reliable choice if you just want something consistently tasty.

Just wondering if Stella Coffee is a legit local spot or like, a big chain pretending to be local?

M Melissa Jackson 1 month ago
Totally local! They started here in LA and it's definitely got that neighborhood coffee shop vibe. Not a huge chain at all.

Nah, they're super local. Been around for a while and their owners are from here, I think. Definitely not corporate.
